Dear iCompost Batch 1 Customer
This is just a routine update to let you know we are not aware of any further delays as yet. We are looking forward to the 25th March which is when the factory will assemble the machines, and we have arranged the logistics to get it onto the ship as soon as possible.
Despite the rising fuel prices due to the war, the most important thing to us is making sure you get your iCompost as soon as possible so we will absorb any fluctuations in shipping costs. We just ask if you could please share on social media about your iCompost experience when you receive it so we can boost sales of Batch 2.
We have also started 3D printing the air filters in JHB with a design that makes them refillable instead of replaceable. You will be able to compost the spent filter material in the machine to further prevent waste. This new design will bring the cost of the filters down from R150 to below R100.
