Icomposter is getting stuck

Ive been using my composter regularly but have found on several occasions that it has jammed and there have been 5 bleeps and dry/grind lights flashing. How do I avoid this problem. Thanks

Adding water Quick start instructions say to add 100ml of water but this is not stated in the pdf manual. So which is correct?
